Using Gratitude to Improve Your Email Strategy

We all email, we all get emails, some of us hate emails, and to others, emails are a saving grace. If we’re all going to communicate this way why not focus on doing it right and improving our ROI as much as possible.

A study by Boomerang found that email’s containing gratitude in the close or sign off had the highest response rate.

Boomerang found that sign-offs that included some sort of expression of gratitude had a 36 percent relative increase in average response rate. I am a big fan of statistics. Read the study here.

Knowing this shouldn’t we all be humble and gracious?

What Emailing software do you use?

I am currently moving to Aweber.
